Reading and Writing

1. RWI in KS1

• Throughout KS1, students acquire knowledge on basic letter-sound relationship in RWI lessons. 
• Sounds will be revisited and further enhanced in G.E. lessons to help consolidate students’ blending and dictation skills. 

2. ERS in KS2

• Students are exposed to a wide range of genres, fiction and non-fiction alike, throughout KS2.

3. From Reading to Writing – Keys2 in P.4

• The school is joining Keys2, a literacy programme offered by the Education Bureau’s NET Section, this year. 
• Process Writing will be incorporated so that students can experience the whole process of writing. The process includes brainstorming, drafting, editing, revising and publishing.
